The polar regions may seem far away to many, but dramatic changes in these remote regions are receiving increasing attention. And rightly so.
Join us with NASA Emeritus scientist Dr. Robert Bindschadler. He will share how melting ice sheets and glaciers, shrinking sea ice, thawing permafrost and earlier snowmelt affect us directly through climate changes. These include more frequent extreme weather, ocean acidification and rising sea level.
Generously supported by Camano Island Library Friends.
