Jose Amador, Owner of Amigos

Jose is a huge supporter for our community. He contributes not only his services from his business, but he dives in and works hard for whatever he is supporting.  Jose has been called upon on several occasions and he never says no; he is involved in so many events in our community. His contribution to the latest RE/MAX Community Grant Chest was exceptional. He truly loves Stanwood Camano and it shows.

Jeff Ericson

Jeff is the owner Camano Island Coffee Roasters and Camano Island Property Management.  He is always thinking of others and taking care of our community.  Camano Island Coffee Roasters has a worldwide impact; one that is changing lives through one small coffee bean farm at a time.

Kris Kristoferson

Kris is a true asset to our community.  He is always volunteering himself and his company to help support the non-profits that serve us.  He has fabulous ideas and incorporates them into making wonderful events that bring tourism to our community which helps everyone.  Kris has been a big help with the new Community Grant Chest, not only helping raise money for it, but volunteering to be on the grant committee.

Mark Phibbs

Mark owns and operates Mark’s Camano Pharmacy. Mark always has time to answer a question or address a concern with a customer or even someone who isn’t. Mark quietly serves his community in many ways; like working with the Camano Center to get medications to those who are homebound. He supports local nonprofits and has sat on local boards. In all that Mark does, he shows the depth of his caring of our community.

Adam Kopp 

Always working hard with a smile and quick laugh, Adam leads Madak by creating a positive and supportive environment where creatives and analysts dig in to provide cutting edge marketing and business practices for clients and community outreach. For the Discover Stanwood Camano Tourism Initiative, Adam continuously allocates resources above and beyond the contracted scope to ensure success and adoption of the platform by community members. As an active member of the Stanwood Chamber of Commerce, Adam works diligently to bring innovation to the Stanwood Camano area.

Bryan Miller

Bryan is a co-owner of Naked City. Bryan has been very active in organizing and promoting community activities at Terry’s Corner like the Christmas Tree Lighting. He has been very proactive in promoting commerce on Camano Island. He is also an active volunteer board member with the Camano Chamber of Commerce.

Lindsey Spoor

Lindsey is not only the owner of Stilly River Yarns, she also contributes to the community with her work at the Food Bank, the elementary school, and sponsors community outreach through her shop. At Stilly River Yarns, she is known for providing awesome customer service and support.

Shayne and Mary Stoddard

Shayne and Mary Stoddard are the owners of the Stanwood Grocery Outlet Bargain Market.  Shayne has 31 years of grocery retail experience and Mary has 15 years of retail experience. They are both very involved in our community. They attend and support numerous events in and around town such as donating hot dogs, buns, chips, water and pop to the National Night Out for the past 2 years. They have also begun a yearly trunk or treat event on Halloween in the parking lot so parents and kids can have a fun and safe Halloween.

John Russell

John Russell is on the Economic Development Board of Stanwood and is the Treasurer of the Stanwood Chamber of Commerce. John is the owner of the UPS Store in Stanwood where he supports small businesses with the products and services they need. He is very involved in our community and is currently on the President of the Port Susan’s Farmer’s Market.

Lynne Ayers

Lynne works tirelessly in her efforts as Executive Director for the Stanwood Camano Food Bank. From the HOPE Backpack Program, feeding children on weekends, holidays, and in the summer to Cold Weather Kits and A Simple Gesture, Lynne has shown great leadership at the Stanwood Camano Food Bank. Lynne attends many community events and resource fairs to ensure information about the food bank gets to needy families. Lynne also supports and collaborates with other nonprofits in the community.

Sirkku Bingham

Community leader with warmth, and the owner of PinchKnitter Yarns, a welcoming local yarn store in downtown Stanwood.  She epitomizes what a community stands for; gracious, welcoming, a steady local business that reaches beyond Stanwood.  She participates in regional events and responds to customers’ requests with a smile.

Yvonne Corbett

Yvonne opened up Ladders (a clothing Boutique) 3 years ago in downtown Stanwood with the belief it was the perfect community location for stylish fashions sold in a relaxed fun environment. Her passion for exceptional fashion and that everyone should feel beautiful, have built her a loyal customer following in the town she loves.

Renae Kettler

Renae is the President of the Stanwood Chamber of Commerce and started the first Re/Max Community Grant Chest.  Renae has grown her ReMax Associate Broker business to over 40 agents in Stanwood and Camano Island and she is heavily involved in our community.  She sponsors many local events, including, the annual Camano Island Crab Derby and the Stanwood Summer Concert Series. Renae always puts everyone before herself, is always there when you need her and her door is always open.

Camano Island Coffee Roasters

Camano Island Coffee Roasters is a mission based-business. Their aim as a company is to create a cycle of prosperity in the impoverished third-world countries that grow the coffee that we enjoy.  Not only do they help people in third world countries, they bring jobs to our community.

Elger Bay Grocery

There aren’t many stores like Elger Bay Grocery these days. Elger Bay Grocery has been owned & operated by the Flickner Family for over 25 years.  It doesn’t matter if you are shopping for groceries, fishing licenses, getting gas or a bite to eat, you always get service with a smile at Elger Bay Grocery.

Fisher Family & Associates LLC

Being drawn to Stanwood’s small-town character and sense of community, Fisher Family and Associates opened their agency in Viking Village in 2015.  They are passionate about educating their clients on proper coverage and helping them protect what matters.  Their mission is to provide their clients with personal attention and professional advice.

Grocery Outlet Bargain Market

An amazing discount grocery store with an awesome selection of products.  Grocery Outlet Bargain Market exists to save you money. They measure their success by how much you save and they’re fanatical about it. Grocery Outlet is a great addition to our community.

Kristoferson Farm/ Canopy Tours Northwest

Canopy Tours Northwest is located on the historic Kristoferson Farm. The family started Canopy Tours as one way to educate the public about farming and early life on Camano Island. Family members are active in the community supporting many nonprofits and serving on local boards. This past year they founded the Camano Fall Festival featuring lots of fun family activities like pumpkin trebuchets.

Ladders Clothing Company

Located on the east side of downtown Stanwood, Ladders Clothing Company is a unique shopping experience! Featuring some of the Northwest finest women’s clothing, soaps, candles, jewelry, specialty home décor and one of a kind items from around the Northwest.

One A-Chord Academy & Coffee

One A-Chord Academy provides music and art lessons in Stanwood.  They are a place where people of all socioeconomic backgrounds can discover and develop their natural talents in music and the creative arts. Not only do they teach music, One A-Chord Academy is a friendly local coffee shop selling great coffee and offering a wonderful social environment.

Stanwood Cupcakes

New owners, Erin White and Rebecca Jett have created an awesome, family run business. As friends and baking partners, Rebecca and Erin share a common passion for making people happy, and love to do that through their creativity and baking, constantly striving to come up with the next fun idea.

Stilly River Yarns

Stilly River Yarns is a full-service yarn and fiber arts shop on the west side of Stanwood.  A wonderful shop with a variety of fibers.  They believe in supporting and creating community by volunteering their time with local groups and institutions and are working on establishing a craft-for-charity group that will meet at the shop on a regular basis.
