Description
The Stanwood Cooperative Preschool (SCP) has been owned and operated by families from the Stanwood, Camano Island, and Arlington areas since 1976. Our preschool is staffed by professional teachers who work together with parents to operate a successful, stimulating and engaging classroom. Our basic philosophy is that young children learn best through hands-on activities and the social interactions of play. SCP is excited to announce our partnership with Edmonds Community College starting the fall of 2020. EDCC's Family Life Education Department provides trained, on-site Parent Educators who are able to provide a wealth of knowledge, expertise and current information in early childhood development and parent education to the parents of SCP students.
