With gallery locations in New York City, LaConner, WA, Stanwood, WA & Vancouver, B.C., David Cassera is among the premiere purveyors for museum quality arts from ancient civilizations. Cassera specializes in the traditional tribal art of Africa, Oceania and the Americas. David also has a focus on American abstract expressionism starting in the 1930's, primarily artists from the Pacific Northwest.
David Cassera is the son of the late painter and president of the Washington Society of Landscape Painters, G.D. Cassera. David received his BFA from St. John's University in New York City and has twenty years of experience as a fine artist, photographer and art collector.
David has been described as a knowledgeable and artistically aware world traveler who is passionate, sincere, and honest. He is the President of the New York Tribal Art Association, Inc., a non-profit public arts organization; the creator and director of New York Tribal Art Week™ and Art Tribal - Les Arts Premiers Magazine.
David is always buying authentic tribal art objects from Africa, Oceania and the Americas. The gallery is also seeking original works by the "Northwest Mystic painters", (Guy Anderson, Mark Tobey, Morris Graves and Kenneth Callahan).
