COVID-19 Impact
Due to COVID-19 we were unable to host Evening With The Hidden Stars in January of 2021, therefore, we are in need to refill our grant chest! As the vaccination campaign has progressed and the state is beginning to reopen, we are now able to introduce a new event on August 7th, 2021 called “Rock The Cause”: a concert held at Kristoferson Farm on Camano Island featuring Savanna Woods from The Voice, Chris Eger, and Shaggy Sweet.
Description
Join Us August 7th As We Rock The Cause!
A Six-Hour event that is destined to be the EVENT OF THE YEAR! Where else will you experience an afternoon of music featuring Savanna Woods from The Voice, The Chris Eger Band, and Shaggy Sweet? All while supporting a very good cause, the RE/MAX Community Grant Chest.
Charity Never Sounded So Good!

The RE/MAX Community Grant Chest was created in 2018 to provide funding to local nonprofit organizations doing vital work in the Stanwood-Camano Community. The first community event held to raise funds was "Evening with the Hidden Stars," a fun-filled evening of local musical talent combined with a lively auction.
Community grants are vital for our local non-profits as a resource for funding special projects and supporting ongoing initiatives, managed by the Stanwood Camano Area Foundation (SCAF). All proceeds from this event go toward replenishing our grant chest for 2021!
These are examples of programs that are funded through your help:
- CASA (Camano Animal Shelter Association)
- Safe Harbor Free Clinic
- Village Community Services
- Stanwood-Camano Food Bank
- Camano Center
- The NOAH Center
- Stanwood-Camano YMCA
- Stanwood Area Historical Society

Kristoferson Farm is a family-owned farm on Camano Island in Washington, one hour north of Seattle. Acquired in 1912, the farm has been an active agricultural enterprise for over 100 years. Six generations of family have been an essential part of its history, embracing sustainable and organic farming practices.
Today, organic hay, lavender, apples, and pumpkins are grown on the farm. Delicious jams, teas, and herb blends are available in the Farm Store. Hand-crafted holiday wreaths and lavender products can be found seasonally. They also have a wide variety of apparel, local crafts, and wines from winemakers featured at dinners in their store.
