Experience one of Western Washington’s most spectacular natural events - the annual winter gathering of thousands of Snow Geese and Trumpeter Swans. Come see why the shores and waters of Puget Sound surrounding our community are internationally recognized as habitat.
Join us at the Floyd Norgaard Cultural Center for the Snow Goose & Birding Festival on Saturday, February 24th, from 9 am to 4 pm. The entrance fee is $10. You will find something for the whole family, including art, children’s activities, informative display booths, and vendors.
Enjoy birding lectures at 9 am, 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm.
There will be maps and shuttles for viewing flocks of wintering seabirds and shorebirds.
